Good Luck Mr Shorto!

Today we said farewell to our fabulous lollipop man, Mr Shorto who is leaving us to begin his retirement. Mr Shorto has worked with us for 26 years both in his role as lollipop man and as school governor. During this time he has dedicated many hours to Rushall, helping to judge our decorated eggs each Easter and helping with school events. Thank you Mr Shorto for everything, and we wish you the very best of luck in your retirement.

World Cup Day!

Today we are celebrating the World Cup by having a whole day dedicated to football.  We are taking part in football games with the help of coaches from West Bromwich Albion and this morning we had a special ‘World Cup’ assembly.

Each class presented facts about two of the countries that competed in the World Cup, and shared their class work based on those countries.  We also congratulated our school football team on their ‘Rushall World Cup’ success!!  We are so proud that our children have been able to talk about all of the positive qualities that sport can bring us, and that we have so many aspiring young footballers at Rushall!

Showcase Day!

Yesterday we enjoyed showing our work and sharing our successes this year with parents.   Parents were invited in to school to look at work together with their child.

In the afternoon some of our talented key stage two children performed at our brass concert.  We are very proud of all them – well done everyone!
